The ROAR Story

Before ROAR was a half-day experience, it was a conversation between three successful Black women who felt something shift around them, a moment when their success was being reduced to a checkbox, when the degrees, the discipline, and the years of hard work were being quietly erased. They felt the weight of it everywhere, watching it play out in the lives of so many Black women they knew. So they made a decision: to circle the wagons. To build a space where Black women could set their burdens down, turn inward toward body, mind, and spirit, and ROAR!
